Basilica of Saint Clement and Basilica Santi Giovanni e Paolo

Basilica of Saint Clement is a three level structure where you will be surrounded by precious architectonical and pictorial remains. Your guide will illustrate the history and meaning of the Mithraeum, the early Christian Baptistery, the Imperial mint and earliest proofs of the Italian language. Then you will visit the underground of the Basilica Santi Giovanni e Paolo with its important pieces of pictorial and decorative art, ranging from the Roman Empire to the Early Middle ages. Here we will also find the only testimony of a Domus Ecclesiae in the West: a building in which the first Christians could gather. To conclude, you will visit the new antiquities museum, recently opened to the public.
THE HEART OF ROME | 3 hrs tour
Spanish Steps, Navona Square, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain
The Eternal City has always been considered a museum of wonders for all the great monuments it hosts in the inner city: Spanish Steps, Navona Square, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. Our expert tour guides will take you through the inner city, starting from Piazza Campo de’ Fiori, seat of a famous open-air market. After a brief break, we will visit Navona Square to admire the artworks of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini.
Our visit then continues towards the ancient temple of pagan divinities, the Pantheon, which today is a Christian Basilica. After we will move to via Condotti, the street of Rome’s most prestigious boutiques, passing through Palazzo Madama, the Column of Marcus Aurelius and Montecitorio. At the end of via Condotti we will find the famous Trevi Fountain, well known for the movie “La Dolce Vita” of 1960. Last but not least, we will lead you to the Spanish Steps, well known for the Trinità dei Monti staircase and for the Barcaccia (the Fountain of the Old Boat).
THE ORIGIN OF ROME | 3 hrs tour
Velabrum valley, Forum Boarium and Forum Holitorium
Rome was born on the Palatine Hill, near the Velabrum valley, the ancient area between the Tiber river and the Palatine Hill. According to the legend, that is where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf. There are also many evidences of archaic ages settlements in the area of the Forum Boarium where you will also visit the Mithraeum of the Circus Maximus (which can be visited only on extraordinary opening days). There you will be lead into the world of attractive rituals of the ancient and mysterious cult devoted to the divinity Mitra, the most popular during the Roman Empire.
Our expert guide will tell you the history of Rome from its archaic period and you will discover 2600 years history of the city. The tour will carry on toward the Forum Boarium, with the almost intact Temple of Portunus and the Temple of Hercules Victor, and we will proceed to the Forum Holitorium, with the rests of three Republican Temples included in the Basilica di San Nicola in Carcere (St. Nicholas in prison), whose underground represents an open window on Ancient Rome.

Colosseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine and Palatine Hill

We will guide you inside to admire the place where gladiators and wild animals used to fight and show you how this amazing place worked. You will walk through the Arch of Constantine and across the Roman Forum, the cultural and political center of the Ancient Rome, the deep heart of the Roman Empire.
Then we will take you to visit the Palatine Hill, where Rome was legendary founded and where you will be able to see the ruins of the Imperial palaces. The tour will finish by gazing at the breathtaking landscape between the Forum Boarium and the River Tiber.
VATICAN TOUR | 3 hrs tour
Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica
The tour will start from the Vatican Museums entrance. You will be blown away by the most fascinating museum in the world. We have selected for you the most famous works of art from the huge collection which covers almost 4,000 years of history (from the Egyptians to Contemporary age). The museum’s official tour guide will be with you during the whole duration of the tour. Starting at the Court of the Pigna, you will enjoy the scenic view on the Vatican Gardens, you will proceed to visit the Pius-Clementine museum which houses important pieces of ancient art as the Laocoon, the Apollo of the Belvedere and the Belvedere Torso.
Afterwards, you will go through the Gallery of the Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of the Maps and the amazing Raphael’s Rooms. Finally you will be taken to the breathless Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel and its famous Renaissance paintings. Leaving the Vatican Museums, you will visit the St. Peter’s Basilica, heart of Christianity, with the masterpieces it preserves.
