The apartment
Situated on the first floor of one of the historic buildings that flank the labyrinth of narrow streets in the neighbourhood, a few paces away from the Trevi Fountain and in the shadow of the Quirinale, the Models’ apartment is the ideal solution for those looking for luxury accommodation with fine finishes, but at the same time loves to be surrounded by comfort and modernity.
The apartment, equipped with charming furnishings and characteristic exposed beams, permits guests to stay in a warm and welcoming environment, characterised by: large living area with a practical sofa bed; complete and equipped kitchen; spacious, bright and soundproofed bedroom, that guarantees undisturbed rest, essential for enjoying every moment of your stay; large bathroom with crystal glass shower, courtesy set, bathrobe and slippers.
Location
The apartment Modelli is located in Vicolo dei Modelli, between Via di San Vincenzo and Piazza Scanderbeg, in the heart of the Trevi district.
Its name recalls memories and curiosities of a Rome of another age. It is precisely here, in fact, that in past centuries young people, often coming from outside the city, met wearing traditional costumes, posing for the works of painters and sculptors who had art studios in these buildings.

Itineraries to discover: Rione Trevi
The second district of Rome, established in 1743 by Pope Benedict XIV, takes its name from the Latin term trivium, three-way junction. To remind us of this intersection, whose traces have been lost in current topography (perhaps corresponding to the so-called Piazzetta dei Crociferi), are the three “Misericordie”, the three daggers that stand out in the district’s coat of arms.
The alleys, palaces, monuments that characterise this suggestive part of Rome are dominated, from the top of the homonymous hill, by the Palazzo del Quirinale. The Pontifical residence since its construction, started in 1583, till 1870 (apart from the 5 years of Napoleonic presence, between 1809 and 1814), then Palazzo Reale and, from June 2nd, 1946, seat of the Presidency of the Italian Republic.
The symbol of the district, and undoubtedly one of the symbols of the city, is the Trevi Fountain, a Baroque exhibition of the ancient Virgin Aqueduct.
Inaugurated by Marco Vipsanio Agrippa in 19 BC, the aqueduct is considered one of the most important hydraulic engineering works of the Roman era, so much so that it is still used today to feed the monumental fountains.
The ancient structures and the millennial and unstoppable flow of water are visible in a small, precious and unique underground museum: the “City of Water – Vicus Caprarius“, a few paces from the famous Fountain.
